Russia’s GOST-R conformity requirement
Russia’s GOST-R Certificate of Conformity confirms that products comply with Russian product safety regulations. The mandatory market access regime was introduced under Russia’s 1995 Product and Services Law and applies to a defined list of product categories. Certificates are issued only by certification bodies or testing laboratories authorised by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology.

GOST-R Certificate of Conformity, with validity options of single shipment, one year, three years, or five years. Additional permits may be required for specific product categories (sanitary registration, fire safety, metrology approval, feed additive registration, disinfectant registration, pharmaceutical registration, medical device registration, telecom approval, installation permit, vehicle type approval, etc.).
