Gabon’s PROGEC conformity requirement
Exporters and importers trading with Gabon must comply with the PROGEC conformity programme administered by AGANOR (Agence Gabonaise de Normalisation). PROGEC has been enforced since 1 August 2015 to ensure that consumers in Gabon receive quality and safe imported products. AGANOR requires that almost all imported products meet mandatory safety and related standards, with products on the exemption list excepted. Each shipment of regulated imports must carry a Certificate of Conformity.
